therapy for young adults
because adulthood doesn’t come with a manual
The transition into full-fledged adulthood can feel uncertain, stressful, and isolating. You might be balancing work, relationships, financial independence, and personal growth—all while trying to figure out who you are and what you actually want in life. Therapy can be a space to process these challenges, gain clarity, and build confidence to navigate adulthood on your terms.

life is busy
therapy can keep up
-
whether you're at work in a private office, in your apartment, or traveling for the week, therapy can happen wherever you are (as long as you’re in IL, FL, or CO). in-person and virtual sessions are available so you can stay on track no matter where life takes you.
-
therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. life evolves, and so do your needs. therapy isn’t static—it can grow with you. as your goals and challenges shift, your therapy will adjust accordingly to help you navigate life’s changes.
-
learning to juggle work, friendships, relationships, and self-care can be tough. therapy can help you find balance, prioritize your mental health, and stop burnout before it happens.
-
you don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy. therapy is a process, and it’s all about helping you find clarity in your life at your own pace. you don’t need to wait for the “perfect moment” to begin.
the lowdown on therapy
how do I know if therapy is right for me?
therapy can be a great way to work through life’s challenges, whether you're feeling stuck, struggling with stress, or just trying to figure things out. if you're looking for guidance, support, or just someone to talk to, therapy is a solid option. it isn't just for times of crisis!
what if I don’t feel comfortable talking about certain things?
it’s totally normal to feel that way at first. you’re in control of what you want to share, and we will work through things at your own pace. you can start anywhere, or even just say, “I don’t know where to start.”
how long do I have to go to therapy?
there’s no set timeline. some people go for a few months, others stay longer—it’s all about your goals and how you’re feeling. therapy is personalized to fit your needs and pace. (plus, most people end up loving that dedicated hour each week to decompress and focus on themselves!)
will insurance cover my therapy?
many insurance plans cover therapy, but it’s always a good idea to double-check your benefits. some plans might require you to pay a co-pay, while others may cover more depending on your provider. I am in network with most major commercial insurance companies.
do I have to talk about my past?
we don't have to dive into your past unless you want to. therapy is about what feels right for you. while understanding your past can sometimes help make sense of the present, many people focus on what's going on right now—whether it's dealing with stress, making life decisions, or improving your relationships.
can I do sessions from the office?
you can absolutely attend therapy sessions during your workday, including from your office, provided you have a private and confidential space. many people find scheduling sessions during lunch breaks or between meetings convenient.
